Who is Support Brokerage Mentoring for?

  • Anyone operating as an Independent Support Broker
  • Anyone providing Information, Advice or Guidance within the context of Self Directed Support 
  • Anyone involved in developing Support Plans
  • Individuals working in Direct Payment or Personal Health Budget teams
  • Individuals working for provider organisations with an emphasise on developing their Self Directed Support offer
  • Individual Service Fund provider organisations

Group Mentoring Sessions

Group Brokerage Mentoring sessions are facilitated by a Regional Co-ordinator for the National Brokerage Network.

Sessions are for a maximum of 8 attendees (early booking is advised to guarantee a place).

Group mentoring sessions provide an opportunity to share knowledge and practice updates; best practice examples; practical problem-solving; exploring ethical dilemmas and provide peer support with other independent brokers from around the UK.*

There is an option to attend these sessions in person with Imagineer who are based in West Yorkshire or join online via video conference.

  • 3rd June 2020
  • 2nd September 2020
  • 2nd December 2020

Individual Mentoring Sessions

Individual mentoring sessions are facilitated by Liz Leach (Chair of the National Brokerage Network and Managing Director of Imagineer).

These sessions provide direct supervision and support to individual Support Brokers and are tailored specifically to personal development requirements and case load.

Cost

£15 per individual per group mentoring session, when booked individually
£50 per year for all 4 sessions if booked in advance
£30 per hour for individual mentoring sessions

*To be featured on the NBN website Support Brokers need to have completed accreditation and commit to attend a recommended minimum of 2 x group mentoring sessions per year and 2 x 1:1 sessions per year.
