Membership to the Support Brokerage Network would be of interest to people and organisations involved in Support Planning and Brokerage, Self-Directed Support, Strengths-Based Approaches and Individual Service Funds.
The membership of the Support Brokerage Network has a diverse representation which includes:
People directing their own care and support
People with lived experience
Independent Support Brokers
Peer Support Brokers
Community based Brokers or Brokerage Agencies
Centres for Independent/Integrated/Inclusive Living
Independent Living Agencies
Local Authority employed Brokers
Individual Service Fund Providers
Lead Consultancy and Development Agencies
Benefits of becoming a member of the Network
Opportunity to receive referrals for Support Brokerage work via the network
Opportunity to access 1:1 mentoring sessions for ongoing professional development
Receiving updates via blogs, articles and newsletters
Opportunities to share and celebrate successes with others on the same journey
Priority access to training and events organised by the Support Brokerage Network and Imagineer
Use of the Support Brokerage Network logo (either as a member or a partner organisation)
Exclusive access to the Imagineer and Support Brokerage Network resources and templates (free of charge from the membership area on the website)
Invitation to peer mentoring sessions with other Support Brokers and Self Directed Support practitioners (a small fee is chargeable for this)
Whilst the Support Brokerage Network is in a stage of further development, the membership is available free of charge until March 2022.
This period of time will enable the team at Imagineer to increase the reach of the network and also provide a time for people and organisations to experience the benefits of membership.
The membership fees set below will be introduced to all new and existing members as of 1st April 2022.
Individuals (Independent Support Brokers) £60 per annum, which can be paid in monthly instalments of £5 per month
Small organisations less than £500,000 turnover £150* per annum, which can be paid in monthly instalments of £12.50 per month
Larger organisations more than £500,000 turnover £300* per annum, which can be paid in monthly instalments of £15 per month
Support Broker Registration Requirements
The following criteria need to be met to become registered with the Support Brokerage Network:
Completion of the Support Brokerage Network Support Brokerage accredited training (or equivalent)
A commitment to access appropriate mentoring via the Support Brokerage Network and Imagineer. You will be expected to attend a minimum of two peer mentoring sessions each year and at least one individual mentoring session with either Founder and Director Liz or Director Sarah.
Current and appropriate insurance (Public liability and Professional indemnity)
Holding a current and valid DBS check
