Description
The 5th Circle Template
This exercise uses the Traditional Circle of Support and other Person Centred Planning tools.
Traditional Circle of Support:
- Intimacy: In this area you place your closest family members and other people in your life
- Friendship: In this area you place your friends in this area.
- Participation: In this area you place the people you have a relationship with who you know through participating in activities. (Example: Fred from the Gym, Joe from Football or Sue who works in your local pub)
- Exchange: These are people who are paid to be in your life. (Example: Hairdresser, Milk Man, Social Worker, your Doctor or Optician)
The 5th Circle, Possibility is where we gather the information from the Treasure Chest activity and Community Mapping to recognise that there is potential to create new relationships within the community.
