The Force Field Analysis model was developed by Sociologist- Kurt Lewin. A Force Field Analysis is a useful approach in bringing a group of people together to consider the forces for change. The people contributing towards the development of the Force Field Analysis can identify the focus of the change, what the change is that we are looking to implement and achieve, as well as the influencing factors that will either hold back the change or be a positive influence towards change.
The process of completing a Force Field analysis can be a useful exercise in achieving the outcome that has been collectively set.
