This is a supplementary (non-mandatory) session wich explores in further detail the subject of coproduction as a key principle of developing Personalised Care and Support Plans, and following the value of ‘nothing about us, without us’.
For learners involved with Care & Treatment Reviews or Care, Education & Treatment Reviews, there is a specific module with a set of 7 shorter training videos to complete- these learners do not need to complete the main PCSP core modules because the content is combined within this module specifically reflecting on Personalised Care and Support Plans as part of the CTR/CETR process.
This course also includes Expert by Experience interviews.
This is a supplementary (non-mandatory) session which explores in further detail the subject of ‘dreaming’ in relation to understanding a person’s aspirations, goals and outcomes for a good life. In this pre-recorded webinar, we hear from a lady who has been able to follow her dreams as a direct result of choosing to self-direct her own support. Watch this module after completing session 5 ‘Resources’.
We recommend that you prepare to make notes throughout the session. As the webinar is pre-recorded, you can stop and start it as many times as you like or return later to sections which are especially helpful. There are also some resources and handouts for you to download, which accompany the webinar. Please take a few moments to complete the evaluation after you have finished watching through the content- it will help to inform how we develop further content in the future.
