Who is Support Brokerage Mentoring for?

  • Anyone operating as an Independent Support Broker
  • Anyone providing Information, Advice or Guidance within the context of Self Directed Support 
  • Anyone involved in developing Support Plans
  • Individuals working in Direct Payment or Personal Health Budget teams
  • Individuals working for provider organisations with an emphasise on developing their Self Directed Support offer
  • Individual Service Fund provider organisations

Group Mentoring Sessions

Group Brokerage Mentoring sessions are facilitated by a Regional Co-ordinator for the National Brokerage Network.

Sessions are for a maximum of 8 attendees (early booking is advised to guarantee a place).

Group mentoring sessions provide peer support with other independent brokers from around the UK* and an opportunity to;

  • Share knowledge
  • Provide practice updates
  • Share best practice examples
  • Access practical problem-solving
  • Explore ethical dilemmas

2021 Mentoring dates

  • 3rd March 2021 – 10am  – 12noon
  • 2nd June 2021 – 10am  – 12noon
  • 15th June 2021 – 10am – 12 noon 
  • 1st September 2021 – 10am  – 12noon
  • 15th December 2021 – 10am  – 12noon

Individual Mentoring Sessions

Individual mentoring sessions are facilitated by Liz Leach (Chair of the National Brokerage Network and Founder of Imagineer).

These sessions provide direct supervision and support to individual Support Brokers and are tailored specifically to personal development requirements.

£20.00 per individual per group mentoring session, when booked individually
£30 per hour for individual mentoring sessions
*To be featured on the NBN website Support Brokers need to have completed accreditation and commit to attend a recommended minimum of 2 x group mentoring sessions per year and 2 x 1:1 sessions per year.
